Just a few notes about myself. I have been a member of the conference for about 25 years. I have served Dolores and Dove Creek, Limon, Grand Junction and Greeley. My home church is Westminster UMC in Denver, I have degrees from the University of Colorado (Go Buffs!) and Perkins School of Theology in Dallas so I do speak Texan! I have been very blessed to have Susy as my bride of 31 years. Our two kids are out and about, Josh in Dallas with Joanna his bride and my Daughter Mary lives in Denver with hopes of new adventures in Chicago soon. I have always had a heart for missions, both local and global so I am thrilled to come here and join you in the amazing work that God is doing at CUMC Pagosa Springs. God’s best as we listen for the Spirit!
The family enjoys doing mission work for the church, from working in the food pantry to disaster relief in areas of the United States and working at rural hospitals in Africa. "Doing God's work is where we are called to be, and we love helping others," said Michelle. She also plays in the Quodlibet Handbell Choir and serves on the District UMW President Team for Utah/Western Colorado. Michelle enjoys getting to know her sisters in Christ on this journey, and she enjoys her work at the church and learning what God has in store for her everyday.
Michelle Huck, Administrative Assistant
Michelle has lived in Pagosa Springs for 14 years. She enjoys travel and venturing to new places and new things. She and her husband Patrick have three children between the two of them (Samantha, Moses, and Mathew) and two grandchildren from Samantha (Ilona and Matthew). Their granddaughter Ilona just moved in with them from Delaware; Ilona is ten and enjoys singing and dancing. They like to hike, camp, go trail riding on their motorcycles, and travel to new adventures.
